I came to Singapore when I’m studying in Primary 2 (7 years old). However, I started from primary 1 again when I came to Singapore because I did not have any English background. My first primary school is First Toa Payoh Primary School and I spend my next three years there. At that point of time, I’m living in a 24 hour childcare and it’s quite near my school.
When I studied in Primary three, my mum came to Singapore and she’s living in Yishun. Thus, I moved out of the childcare and get to live with my mum. However, it took me around 1 hour and 20 minutes to travel from my home to school. Thus, at the start of primary four, my mum decided to transfer school. Thus, I studied in Ahmad Ibrahim Primary School from primary four to six. At there, I met my best friend.
Because of my best friend, I went to Evergreen Secondary School with a aggregate score that is far way higher than their cut off points. Fortunately, we were in the same class throughout the fours in secondary school life. I studied triple science and higher mother tongue and honestly, I felt it is very stress for me and I am unable to cope because I cannot balance between my competitions, CCA and studies. I was busy participating all kinds of Chinese competitions and preparing for my SYF, then I reliase I have no more time to study. Thus, I had a very stress life in my upper secondary.
My mum is very strict to me. Other than having good results in my studies, I also got to learn dance, calligraphy and Guitar. Thus, I had a very busy life in primary school and secondary school. Even though I had a very busy life, I still enjoy my primary school and secondary school life.
Now, I’m studying in Singapore Polytechnic under the course, Diploma in Business Information Technology. I plan to go Melbourne and study in Universities of Melbourne for my further study after I graduate from Singapore Polytechnic.
